The challenge

Create an original artwork that presents your vision of space, astronomy, exploration or humanity's future beyond Earth.

• ✓Create an original space-themed artwork.
• ✓The artwork should be created by the participating student.
• ✓Your concept may explore planets, stars, spacecraft, astronauts, alien worlds or future space exploration.
• ✓The artwork should communicate a clear idea or story.
• ✓Students should be prepared to briefly explain their artwork.

What you need to do

Prepare your artwork according to the competition instructions and present it at the venue.

• ✓Bring the required drawing or art materials permitted by the organisers.
• ✓Create the final artwork during the designated competition period if instructed.
• ✓Give your artwork a suitable title.
• ✓Be prepared to explain the inspiration behind your work.
• ✓Follow the instructions and time limits announced at the venue.

Artwork requirements

The artwork should demonstrate originality, creativity and a thoughtful connection to the theme of space.

• ✓Artwork must be original and created by the participant.
• ✓Do not submit copied artwork or another artist's work.
• ✓Use only materials permitted by the organisers.
• ✓Keep the artwork neat and suitable for display.
• ✓Digital or pre-created artwork should not be used unless explicitly permitted.

Evaluation

Entries will be evaluated on creativity, originality, visual communication and connection with the theme.

Rules
